Thesis. Incumbents don’t fail to adopt because the technology is hard. They fail because transformation is run from the top as strategy, when it can only happen at the bottom as work. The unit of change is not a deck — it’s a small team of engineers and AI placed at the point of the problem, with the authority to rewire the workflow rather than recommend one. AI just made that unit cheap enough to deploy everywhere.

Sixteen chapters, four parts. Part I earns the thesis. Part II defines it: doctrine, unit, economics, firm. Part III is the playbook. Part IV is the economy this creates.
